When I think about Azores, one of the first things that comes to my mind is the enormous color diversity you experience. It’s a feast for your eyes where green is king. So, it was with this in mind that I decided to challenge myself and take a different approach in the way I would shoot during my stay in this amazing archipelago. Why not try black and white?

If shooting street and people is kind of easier in black and white, the same doesn't apply to landscapes. Of course there are amazing photographers that do a great job in shooting landscapes in black and white, but for me this is an approach that I am not that comfortable with. Maybe that’s why the final result, although most of it is focused on landscape, always has a strong human presence.
